Internet Marketing Agency:In The Big Leagues At 65

It is not very pleasant to have a life-long dream taken away from you in almost the blink of an eye. I guess I was born to either play or coach and thought I would be doing it til the day that I die. However, sometimes things just do not work out the way you think your life should for whatever

reason causes it. Of course, we all have our own cross to bear and we must go on. Because of my illness I have been instructed to write and put on paper as much as I can. The last group of nurses that have come to see me gave me the instruction to write a autobiography of my life. I guess

because I had so many stories to tell and talking helps me stay focused and stable at times. So I decided that I would start that autobiography. It starts off like this: Dr. Poe from Paragould, Arkansas was the person that brougnt me into this world.It must have hurt. Not me, that is, but

the world coming to realize that I was born and they had to endure my every move in life. Just to keep up with me was enough for one person, but being as active as I was and a brother pulling at my every coat tail whenever he wanted to play ball had to be a great pain for him. Of course, I loved

playing, but only when I wanted to play. My brother was a fanatic at the game and wanted my attention constantly. Later as I got older, I discovered his great joy in waking up at 5am in the morning and playng ball with me til it was dark. But that seems quiet simple, but do you realize how

many types of balls there are in this world. But anyway that is another story I'll tell about later. At this moment in time my mother gave birth to her best child and named him Manuel Delayne Washington. Now they named me, Manuel, after a distant cousin named Manuel. No he was not Hispanic. Delayne my middle name came from one of my uncles named

Freddie Layne . And of course Washington is from being the 12th cousin removed from the President of the USA George Washington. So with those small beginnings who would ever know that a teacher/coach of 33 years would ever be a part of the Internet Marketing Agency. 14. Trend of 163 Games

Over 163 games in baseball we studied trends over a period of time, like in marketing, and I can go along with Tom Prendergast, CEO of Veretekk, that trends are not absolutes and sometimes they will come back and haunt you. I can relate to a shortstop playing for the Cubs who over a period of time in practice, as well games, always on a double play touched the inside of second base and moved to the infield side to make the play. I watched that trend over and over so

those years you couuld sliide and cut a players legs out from him. Well on a double play I went out after him inside and he got between my legs and took my right leg to the outside into the outfield. It cost me a torn ligament and cartiliage.That well studied trend did not work for me. Ill follow the research closely but be able to adapt and make changes on the spur of the moment at the time. Research is also not an exact science just indicators. We have a very

good teacher in Tom Prendergast in marketing and as we search out some trends we will always have to be leery and always learning. Right now , and I say right now I am leery of WP, but at the same time what is good for some might not be good for all.

My parents were hard working, devoted good Americans. One was a Democrat and the other was a Republican. They were American through and through. They were part of the "Great Generation". You know, the ones that paid a tremendous price for this country. I remember when they used to tell me about the Great Depression years and how tough it was. They said, "the difference in a depression and a recession is in a depression, if you wanted to buy something for a nickel, you

did not have a nickel. In a recession, a real one, not the ones the politicians claim today, you would have the nickel to buy something, but it cost a lot more than a nickel.They were survivors. By that I mean, you shut things down like a train, car, or truck where food is unable get into you or anything else for that matter, and they would

find a way to use whatever land they had to plant crops, slop hogs, feed the chickens, milk the cows, and barter for food

and other items to live. My mother told me of a time she had a pair of shoes to last through the depression and they were kept going by placing cardboard in the soles. She told me of one dress that she had for a year and it was made

out of a tow sack. A tow sack is what they kept flour and other items in. They had no electricity, just oil burning lamps. No wonder they call America the land of the free and home of the brave. Many many many years ago I used to worry about saying things and then changing my mind. I mean about very basic topics to very complicated topics. One of the reasons I worried about that so much was in todays society people are always looking to critique and analyze every word you say.

While doing so, they are looking for phrases of words that you use to be able to say "aha I got you". Then they make judgements on whether or not you are stable or have some kind of psycho problem. Well, I finally, at a very young age decided that I could not avoid changing my mind

from one subject to the next. Simply because, at that time, I may or may not have all the facts of knowledge enough to answer the questions as thorough as I would have liked. Many people will use questions to ask in the hope of learning more about you or learn the extinct of your

knowledge on different subject matters. This is done in the political world and religious world as well as other segments of our society too. I have never known any person to be able to avoid "got you" questions very well, especially if they are people using this as a tactic to down

grade you as a person or individual in order to build themselves up or establish their own expertise on any perticular subject.Now if your tired of them and want to get rid of them, a person can express himself in some kind of angry way or say some off the base things that will just

absolutely turn the conversation from one of reason to irrational thinking. I have discovered that there are many things that I do not know about, and will learn more about some things in the future. Some questios are hypothetical questions in which you do not have all the marbles or

information to deal with the answers to them, or will never have all the information until the problem is solved through time or situational factors.So therefore, not being an expert in any field or today being under the judgement of the informational age, where anyone can gain knowledge about

any subject matter and decide for themselves whether it is true or fact, I have established a very important part of my psyche to be able to say, " I do not have many rights as a person, but there is one right that I reserve til the day that I die, and that is the right to be able to change my

mind from one time to the next." A person can like it or dislike it, I do not really care. However, I do my best to be able to be consistent with what I am saying at all times, because I do want to connect all the dots if possible on any one subject. Although I know through the age of time that

not everything is an exact science and many things has to be adapted to places, times, culture,etc.For instance, Veretekk is a great example of adaptation to the online business world. 25. Stop Being A Cotton Picker

When I was young I used to pick cotton with my grandpa. Really this was his own business. He had his own farm. The workers on the farm came from all over. Some from Mountain View, Arkansas called by the people in that area Mountain Men. Others were from Mexico and workers around the area.His

farm was in a small country town called Mounds. He was a firm, but fair business man. But he checked your rows and if there was cotton left on the stalks he would tell you to "lick your calf over" a slang phrase that meant go back and redo your job. He was set in his ways and hard to change.

Along came a company, who was promoting to him a new machine called a mechanical cotton picker. So my grandpa gave him a trial run to show what his cotton picker machine could do. So the cotton machine picked his field. The person that ran the machine came back to my granddad and asked him what he thought about the machine. My granddad said there is not anyway he would buy the machine and was upset how much cotton was left on the stalks for waste.

The owner of the mechanical cotton picker suggested that he would like to do an analysis of how much cotton was not picked. So my grandpa agreed to get his cotton pickers back out in the field and pick the remaining cotton left by the mechanical cotton picker. They picked the field clean

and took it to the cotton gin where they separate the seeds from the cotton and put the cotton into what is called "bales." There was only 2 bales picked by the cotton pickers that was left by the mechanical cotton picker. When the promoter of the mechanical cotton picker told my grandpa how many bales were left in the field he just could not believe it. It did not take him too much time to figure out how much

money he would save by using the mechanical cotton picker, so he looked at the man and said order me one of those machines. My grandpa was set in his ways, but also a smart business man. In using the mechanical cotton picker he saved thousands of dollars by getting his cotton to the gin early and not having to hire cotton pickers. He put the money saved back into his business by hiring other employees to do other things that needed to be done on the farm. While

he got his cotton to the gin in just a few days the other farmers were still getting their cotton out in weeks and months. That mechanical cotton picker today has another word and can be used in all areas of our society today. It's called "technology." I work for a company that has used analysis, data,research to develop tools specially combined to create a system to promote a persons company, services,

The precise limits of presidential power are a source of an eternal legal debate, but the broad powers of the office are outlined in Article II of the U.S. Constitution. The president's basic constitutional responsibilities are thus:

While the president obviously has a tremendous amount of authority, his legislative power is limited. The president can recommend legislation, but only Congress can write it. The presidential veto is a very powerful tool, but it's not a line-item veto, and can be overridden with a two-thirds majority vote.

Many years ago when I first started out playing basketball. I could use my skills to slam dunk the basketball just about anyway I elected to do it.
